12. Yusuf Sûresi - 31. ayet

(Züleyha) o (kadı)nların (dedikodularla kendisini dile düşürme) hilelerini işitince, onlara (bir davetçi) gönderdi. Onlar için dayalı döşeli (oturulup) yaslanılacak bir yer (ve bir sofra) hazırladı. Ve onlardan her birine de bir bıçak verdi. (Kadınlar meyveleri soymakta iken, Yusuf’a:) “Çık karşılarına!” dedi. Onlar bunu görünce, (gözlerinde) onu çok büyüttüler, (âdeta büyülendiler de meyve yerine) ellerini kestiler ve: “Allah’ı tenzih ederiz, bu bir insan değildir. Bu ancak güzel bir melektir.” dediler.

When she heard about their gossip, she invited them and set a banquet for them. She gave each one a knife, then said ˹to Joseph˺, “Come out before them.” When they saw him, they were so stunned ˹by his beauty˺ that they cut their hands, and exclaimed, “Good God! This cannot be human; this must be a noble angel!”
