66. Tahrîm Sûresi - 10. ayet

Allah, inkâr edenlere, Nuh’un karısı ile Lût’un karısını misal verdi. Bunlar, kullarımızdan iki sâlih kulun nikâhı altında idiler. Böyle iken onlara (dinde) hıyanet ettiler. (O iki peygamber) Allah’(ın azabın)dan onları, hiçbir şekilde kurtaramadılar. (O iki kadına:) “Girin ateşe (diğer) girenlerle beraber.” denildi.

Allah sets forth an example for the disbelievers: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. Each was married to one of Our righteous servants, yet betrayed them. So their husbands were of no benefit to them against Allah whatsoever. Both were told, “Enter the Fire, along with the others!”
