Eşlerine (zina suçu) isnad edip de kendilerinden başka şahitleri olmayanlar(a gelince): Onlardan her birinin (dört şahit yerine kendi) şahitliği; kendisinin hakikaten doğru sözlülerden olduğuna dair dört defa Allah’a yemin ederek şahitlik etme(si)dir.

And those who accuse their wives ˹of adultery˺ but have no witness except themselves, the accuser must testify, swearing four times by Allah that he is telling the truth,

وَالَّذٖينَ يَرْمُونَ اَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ شُهَدَٓاءُ اِلَّٓا اَنْفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ اَحَدِهِمْ اَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللّٰهِۙ اِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقٖينَ
