18. Kehf Sûresi - 57. ayet

Rabbinin âyetleriyle (kendine) nasihat edildiği halde, onlardan yüz çeviren ve kendi yaptığı (günahları)nı unutan kimseden daha zalim kim vardır? Biz de (bu sebeple) onların kalplerinin üzerine, onu (Kur’an’ı) iyi anlamalarına engel olan perdeler ve kulaklarına da bir ağırlık koyduk. Sen onları doğru yola çağırsan da, asla doğru yola gelmezler.

And who does more wrong than those who, when reminded of their Lord’s revelations, turn away from them and forget what their own hands have done? We have certainly cast veils over their hearts—leaving them unable to comprehend this ˹Quran˺—and deafness in their ears. And if you ˹O Prophet˺ invite them to ˹true˺ guidance, they will never be ˹rightly˺ guided.
